Description:
Responsibilities of the Inventory Control Coordinator:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies of materials, parts, and consumables, facilitating timely distribution.
- Conduct regular cycle counts across all facilities to identify and address discrepancies.
- Perform quality checks on inventory to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying and addressing root causes.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports and other required documentation.
- Recommend improvements for warehouse space utilization, including pallet consolidation and racking optimization.
- Support company growth by participating in new system deployments and implementations.
- Manage overstocks and obsolete materials to optimize product flow.
- Enter data for new products and adjust prices as needed.
- Ensure incoming products are received and processed according to company procedures.
- Maintain precise procedures for all inventory-related tasks.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements of the Inventory Control Coordinator:
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory control.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management methods and systems.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and formula creation.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up abilities.
- Proficient in analyzing data and solving problems.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all departments.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on achieving results and providing excellent customer service.
