As an International Trade Policy Analyst, you will focus on investigating and analyzing the impact of U.S. trade policies, particularly those shaped during the Trump Administration. Your role will involve reporting on economic trends, trade agreements, sanctions, and regulatory changes while offering critical insights to stakeholders navigating the evolving international trade landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and report on U.S. trade policies, including impacts from the Trump Administration and ongoing developments.

  2. Analyze geopolitical and economic factors affecting international trade, sanctions, and bilateral agreements.

  3. Engage with policymakers and industry leaders to uncover key trends and exclusive stories.

  4. Produce detailed reports and data-driven insights for a global audience, emphasizing risks and opportunities for businesses.

  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret complex policy changes and turn them into actionable intelligence.


Required Qualifications:

  1. Based in the U.S.

  2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, International Economics, Political Science, or a related field.

  3. Direct experience in government sectors (e.g., trade agencies, legislative offices) or familiarity with U.S. policymaking.

  4. Proven experience in covering international trade, economic policy, or geopolitical risk.

  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex policy details.

  6. Proficiency in using LinkedIn and other platforms to build networks with policymakers and industry experts.
