Interior Designer

Description:

We are currently seeking an entry level interior designer to expand our team of creative Architectural and Interior Designers. The right person will be:

• Creative and logical, continually considering the future implications of choices, actions and decisions.

• An avid and self-driven learner with a desire to apply their experiences in new and innovative ways.

• Someone who knows their resources and how to use them, but knows when and how to reach out for assistance.

• An aide in creating a positive and ethical work environment that is conducive to productive team collaboration; attracting, retaining and developing a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels.

Qualifications

• A Professional Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA Accredited program; an interest or experience in Architecture is a plus.

• 0-3 years of design firm experience.

• Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)

• Maintains and ensures good communication with clients, developers and team members.

• An interest in working on both Architectural and Interior aspects of a project.

• Takes special joy in planning and creating a well thought out, quality set of Construction Documents.

• Experience working with multiple clients with varying project timelines through all stages of design with tight deadlines.

• Attention to detail.

responsibilities

• Modeling and drafting in Revit with efficient precision; adhering to drawing standards.

• Assist Design Principal in development of Schematic Designs and ensuring design continues to develop in-line with conceptual vision, code requirements, client expectations and project budget.

• Makes all finish and furnishings selections that align with project design parameters.

• Assists in client presentations

• Demonstrates strong written and oral communications skills, organizational skills and the ability to follow a task to completion.

• Manage project schedules, teams, tasks, consultants, clients and building and permitting officials, for multiple projects with varying timelines to meet project goals.

• Maintain the library to ensure that the most current samples are available, provides organization and coordination with product vendor reps.
