Description:

Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:

  • Serves as an expert for AW systems, tactics and procedures, sensors, weaponry, advanced electronic warfare (EW)/attack/electronic protection systems, and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR), datalinks, mission planning and support systems.
  • Performs studies and analyses for the Deputy Director on Air Warfare Systems, OSD (DOT&E).
  • Provides expert assistance, advice, and support to the DOT &E and responsible for oversight, monitoring, and test observance of the effectiveness, suitability, and survivability (including cyber survivability) of Air Warfare programs and related systems, including air vehicles, weapons, mission planning, support, electronic warfare, and threat systems.
  • Participates in Air Warfare Systems, weaponry and C4ISR systems test and evaluation (T&E) test plan working groups for the integration of system and mission C4ISR systems into plans, assessments, and reports.
  • Initiates, conducts, and reviews plans, programs actions, and tasking to ensure adequate design of OT &E.

  • The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • This position may require occasional travel away from your normal duty station, approximately 25% of the time, for official business on military or commercial aircraft.
  • Incumbent is required to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.
  • Relocation incentive may be authorized in accordance with regulatory requirements.
