Duties & Responsibilities
- Instruction of class: teaching; in-class studio production time for class and individual instruction.
- Creates instructional design, curriculum implementation, technology application.
- Designs and develops instructional materials and resources that align with learning objectives and course goals.
- Collaborates with faculty to create and enhance curriculum, ensuring it is engaging, effective, and meets academic standards.
- Implements best practices in instructional design, including integrating technology to enhance learning.
- Oversees the delivery of courses, ensuring that instructional materials are utilized effectively.
- Provides guidance to faculty on course design and teaching methodologies.
- Assists in the adaptation of courses for different learning environments, including online and hybrid formats.
- Develops and implements assessment strategies to measure student outcomes and effectiveness of instructional materials.
- Analyzes assessment data to provide feedback and recommendations for course and program improvements.
- Provides weekly office hours for mentoring students.
- Provides direct support and mentorship to students to enhance their learning experience and address academic concerns.
- Facilitates workshops or one-on-one sessions to help students with course content and study strategies.
- Assessments of student progress.
- Fosters collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, and students to support the academic mission of the institution.
- Maintains accurate records of instructional materials, student assessments, and support activities.
- Prepares reports and documentation related to instructional design and student outcomes as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
