Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate instructional design for projects from idea generation to delivery and assessment to ensure an effective learning experience for stakeholders.
  • Track project deliverables and maintain project documentation to ensure the overall project quality and success.
  • Conduct learner and learning needs assessments to identify training needs.
  • Assist with development of training strategies and curricula.
  • Work with sales leaders and other T-ROC departments as needed to develop course learning objectives based on identified training needs.
  • Design effective learning assessments based on course objectives and content.
  • Develop effective course content by reviewing existing training materials and other technical documents, as well as working directly with subject matter experts.
  • Write scripts for video, animation, or voiceovers for training initiatives as needed.
  • Convert existing and new training materials into an online, on-demand format using Articulate and other e-learning software tools.
  • Record and edit short audio and video clips to be used in online content, using appropriate equipment and software tools.
  • Develop clear and attractive graphic design materials – such as images, charts, diagrams, infographics, etc. – using appropriate software tools.
  • Test and publish training modules (multiple formats) to Learning Management System (LMS) on occasion.
  • Assist with organizing and making administrative updates to training content in the LMS.

Here’s What You Need to ROC This Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in instructional design, industrial psychology, adult education, organizational learning, human resources, graphic design, electrical engineering, or related technical or training field of study.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in instructional design, teaching, training, and/or graphic design preferred.
  • Computer Skills – Must have intermediate- to advanced skills in Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Audacity, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Consumer electronics and retail experience preferred.
  • Experience with recording and editing voice-overs.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and adapt to changing and evolving work environment & priorities. Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work as a self-starter.
  • Ability to manage multiple open items with a high degree of urgency to resolve, without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Creativity, Innovation, and Graphic design/layout experience.
  • Training needs assessment, curriculum development and design, and evaluation.
  • Must be well organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
