Description:
The Department of Art & Art History at The University of Mississippi invites applications for an Instructional Assistant Professor of Art Education & Studio Art beginning August 22, 2024. This permanent full-time, non-tenure-track position requires an MFA or other terminal degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience at the time of appointment. Candidates will possess a commitment and ability to teach art education courses specifically focused on teaching art in elementary schools. In addition to the art education courses offered each semester, the individual in this position will teach additional courses in foundations and studio art consistent with their disciplinary expertise.
