Description:
Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Institutional Hospital Sales Representative for the Albany market. This role will focus on institutional sales efforts, including targeting hospitals for a long-acting injectable therapy for schizophrenia. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospital setting, knowledge of buy-and-bill processes, formulary placement, and strong relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business plans to exceed territory sales goals.
- Engage with healthcare professionals, including physicians and hospital staff, to promote and educate about the product.
- Manage relationships with hospitals, P&T committees, and specialty pharmacy facilities.
- Provide product demonstrations and in-servicing for healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Analyze sales trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with internal teams including sales leadership, market access, and training.
- Maintain a consistent call schedule with top-target customers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with long-acting injectable schizophrenia treatment sales experience.
- Prior experience in hospital sales, including understanding of buy-and-bill, formulary placement, and in-servicing.
- Experience working with psychiatric therapeutic areas is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of transitions of care and working with discharge coordinators.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $9,673 - 12,696 per month.
