Inside Sales Representative

 

Description:

As the Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new customers and growing existing business with small to mid-size converter customers. Your goal will be to rapidly gain a functional understanding of our products and how they are used in the channel (converting, end-use). Additional responsibilities will include developing relationships with OEM, and gaining an understanding of our competitors, their product offerings and how to sell against them.

Breakdown of Responsibilities:

Business Development [40%]

  • Engagement with defined list of existing small to mid-sized customers including converters (Label, tag/ticket), and development of new customers. This role will have measurable sales goals for revenue and profitability.

  • Develop relationships with key OEM and facilitate information sharing between our technical/marketing teams and the OEM

Sales Development [40%]

Develop an understanding of:

  • Our products, how they are used by our direct customers and the end-users

  • The markets we serve and the respective channels in these markets

  • Competitors, their products, and how we are best able to compete against them

  • Key OEM partners and their position in the channel

  • Develop and display ability to manage larger accounts, with larger volumes and revenue

Market Insight [20%]

  • Support the marketing/commercial team with market insight gathering

  • Develop relationships with OEM partners to collect insight and facilitate development of forward-looking opportunities

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of B2B experience, preferably in sales/marketing

  • Self-motivated, curious, driven to succeed and achieve results.

  • Willingness to be coached and be part of a successful team

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and apply them
