Description:
As the Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new customers and growing existing business with small to mid-size converter customers. Your goal will be to rapidly gain a functional understanding of our products and how they are used in the channel (converting, end-use). Additional responsibilities will include developing relationships with OEM, and gaining an understanding of our competitors, their product offerings and how to sell against them.
Breakdown of Responsibilities:
Business Development [40%]
Engagement with defined list of existing small to mid-sized customers including converters (Label, tag/ticket), and development of new customers. This role will have measurable sales goals for revenue and profitability.
Develop relationships with key OEM and facilitate information sharing between our technical/marketing teams and the OEM
Sales Development [40%]
Develop an understanding of:
Our products, how they are used by our direct customers and the end-users
The markets we serve and the respective channels in these markets
Competitors, their products, and how we are best able to compete against them
Key OEM partners and their position in the channel
Develop and display ability to manage larger accounts, with larger volumes and revenue
Market Insight [20%]
Support the marketing/commercial team with market insight gathering
Develop relationships with OEM partners to collect insight and facilitate development of forward-looking opportunities
Ideal Qualifications:
3-5 years of B2B experience, preferably in sales/marketing
Self-motivated, curious, driven to succeed and achieve results.
Willingness to be coached and be part of a successful team
Ability to understand technical concepts and apply them
