Inside Sales Representative

 

Description:

We are seeking a driven and goal-oriented Inside Sales Associate to generate and close sales primarily through phone and email communication. This role focuses on cold calling, nurturing leads, and building strong client relationships within the food, beverage, and nutrition sectors. A solid understanding of functional sugars and dietary fibers is essential for success in this position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cold calling to generate & qualify leads and engage potential customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brands, contract manufacturers, and distributors through phone and email communication.
  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up on marketing-generated leads.
  • Provide detailed product information and support, understanding customer needs and matching them with our functional sugars and dietary fiber offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet revenue targets via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless onboarding.
  • Regularly update CRM with customer interactions, track progress, and provide sales reports.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years' proven experience in inside sales in a B2B environment.
  • Knowledge of functional sugars and dietary fibers is a must.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially over the phone and via email.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software.
