Description:


To accurately provide price and delivery for all our products to our customers in a timely and courteous fashion, utilizing organization and negotiating techniques, and applying resourcefulness and strong attention to detail while converting inquiries into orders. Answer customer questions concerning products/ services and their orders. Develop target and non-major accounts into loyal customers.

Job Description

General Responsibilities:
 

  • Pro-actively sell our products and services
  • Prepare quotations and quote price and delivery
  • Follow up on quotations
  • Enter orders
  • Coordinate internal and external processing
  • Communicate via phone, fax and e-mail with internal and external customers
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Provide customer service, responding in a timely manner
  • Communications with Management/Outside Sales to keep account information current
  • Travel as needed
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to the above

     

Account Management – including:
 

  • Planning/controlling inventory in accordance with customer forecasts and company turnover goals
  • Order entry and releases
  • Delivery scheduling and expediting
  • Price maintenance and updating
  • Growth of market share
  • Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or comparable experiencence.
  • At least 2 years Inside Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to sell, negotiate and close business with customers
  • Attention to detail in order to evaluate customer’s accounts and orders
  • Basic computer skills in order to assemble and process orders and information in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Effective communication and listening skills necessary when answering phone calls from customers and associating with peers.
