Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing relationships: Build on your established network of industry connections and past client relationships to quickly convert opportunities and drive sales. Your ability to tap into these relationships will be pivotal in accelerating the sales process and delivering value to new and existing clients.
  • Engage with potential clients both remotely (inside sales) and through in-person meetings (outside sales) depending on the region.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments with clients to understand their business goals, pain points, and technology requirements.
  • Present tailored solutions that combine our enterprise software and merchant services, demonstrating how our products can help businesses streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor for payment processing and software solutions.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring clients understand the full scope of our products and services.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and follow up with prospects to move them through the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless implementation and onboarding experience for new clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and best practices to continuously improve sales strategies and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in selling enterprise software solutions and merchant services, specifically to small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Proven success in converting relationships into sales: You will be expected to leverage your existing relationships and portfolio to drive immediate results. A demonstrated ability to build strong client partnerships and convert leads will be critical to your success in this role.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and integrated software solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing a client base within the software and merchant services sectors.
  • Experience building and managing a sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with both inside and outside sales, including remote engagement and in-person meetings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when identifying client needs and offering solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
