Description:
To support the drastic shift in Meta Infra business strategy that leads to the increases in the number of complex transactions and in the work volume due to dynamic changes in business strategy, on-demand requests from various internal and external parties, as well as the system enhancements that are needed to support and scale the accounting operations.
Infrastructure Accounting Analyst II Responsibilities:
- Perform month end close duties, including record compilation, preparation of manual and system automated journal entries, process financial transactions in general ledgers and sub-ledgers review
- Perform non-standard accounting analysis. Reach conclusions with an adequate level of rationale and documentation for review and then communicate and present the accounting conclusions to the team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Infrastructure Business Partners in order to understand the broader business objectives
- Perform some of our key SOX controls as well as providing inputs for audits performed by business partners, internal auditors and external auditors
- Assist ad-hoc requests from our XFNs
- Participate in process improvements and other IT system improvements to help the business scale for future growth
- Be responsible for, but not limited to, the following critical procedures: Cleaning process. Commitment table, executive fluxes, and reporting packages
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of financial statements auditing, financial accounting or similar experience
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of general accounting or auditing principles
- Experience with compliance and internal controls over financial reporting.
- Experience analyzing large data sets and working with business partners to effect changes
- Experience in optimizing or re-designing existing processes to address business changes
