Information Assurance Engineer

Description:

WWC Federal is seeking an Information Assurance Engineer for a contract within the Department of Defense (DoD) at USTRANSCOM in support of Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) Enterprise Support.

Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Plan, design, build, and integrate tools and systems to protect electronic information and devices.
• Implement systems to collect information about security incidents and outcomes.
• Develop metrics and/or procedures for evaluating effectiveness of systems and tactics.
• Evaluate security technologies and tools.
• Develop, maintain, and document configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform security account administration and evaluate system security plan documentation.
• Provide technical expertise to support vendor and project reviews.
• Identify security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans.
