Industry-consumer Alliance Technology Coordinator

 

Description:

To support HLAA’s ICAAT initiative effectively, this job role combines key responsibilities including community engagement, content creation and management, communication and collaboration with ICAAT participants and HLAA staff, and basic frontend website management. The ICAAT Coordinator will facilitate and grow ICAAT’s online community, through outreach, timely responses to queries, and engagement with consumers, researchers, hearing health professionals as well as technology developers and industry participants. The ICAAT Coordinator will manage and curate content for the ICAAT site, ensuring accuracy and relevance while facilitating community discussions and engagement. This role involves regular communication with HLAA staff to promote and help integrate ICAAT activities across all departments. Additionally, the coordinator will monitor the functionality of ICAAT’s web portal and report issues to HLAA’s Digital Communications and Web Specialist.

 

Education and Experience:

Education: A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university

Relevant Experience: At least five years of experience working in the field of technology and accessibility for people with hearing loss
