Industrial Engineering Intern

Description:

JBT Corporation, a global leader in food and beverage technology, is offering an exciting Industrial Engineering Internship for students or recent graduates. This is a fully onsite role where you'll gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, quality control, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Design and develop manufacturing fixtures in collaboration with the Quality Control (QC) and Lakeland teams.
✔ Ensure compliance with engineering requirements and JBT QC standards for production parts.
✔ Analyze labor and cost variances, generate reports, and adjust routings & Bills of Materials (BOMs).
✔ Coordinate production schedules by comparing shop floor load to availability.
✔ Optimize production methods by reviewing engineering drawings and recommending cost-effective solutions.
✔ Assist with general operational reporting and data analysis as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

🎓 Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Finance, or related fields.
📊 Proficiency in data visualization & analysis using PowerPoint and Excel.
🕒 Availability to work at least 20+ hours per week.
🇺🇸 Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (now or in the future).
