Industrial Cooling Ac Technician

Description:

A well-established industrial equipment provider in North Austin is hiring an experienced and licensed Industrial Cooling AC Technician. This company specializes in power, thermal, and infrastructure management solutions, helping clients maximize availability, enhance performance, and reduce downtime.

The position guarantees 40 hours per week, provides company-provided tools and a service vehicle, and requires a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on computer room AC equipment

• Diagnose and repair service issues related to AC systems

• Maintain company-provided service vehicle and tools

• Manage and control spare parts inventory on company vehicle

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude

• Be available for 24/7 On-Call rotation

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in AC maintenance and servicing
✅ EPA Universal Certification / TDLR Certification (Required)
✅ Ability to pass a background check & drug/alcohol screening
✅ Clean driving record (MVR)
✅ Fluent in English (Required)
✅ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
✅ Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and work at heights greater than 3 feet
✅ Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

Education & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Basic mathematical skills for calculations

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Knowledge of local market preferred

Work Schedule & Additional Details:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

• 40 hours guaranteed per week, whether worked or not

• Company-provided tools and service vehicle
