Independent Sales Representative

We are looking for an enthusiastic and independent sales representative to drive company sales by increasing exposure to new customers to purchase our online courses. Existing book of 50K+ customers (since 1990) will help ensure that you hit the ground running.

Requires:

  • Proven sales experience
  • The ability to work independently
  • Respect for the customers that we serve in that this is not a typical retail sales client base
  • Willingness to work with our team on approved sales content
  • Proficiency of working in a CRM (Zoho preferred)
  • Knowledge of social media and online sales
  • Sales Analysis experience
  • No certification or licenses required

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Background in online sales (professional continuing education emphasis preferred).
  • Managing customer relationships, identifying networking opportunities, answering customer’s questions.
  • Finding new customers through cold-calling, emailing and social media advertising.
  • Set up and manage appointments with existing and new clients.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to continually meet or exceed sales quotes.
  • Following up with customers to inquire into whether the purchasing process met their expectations.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate business development initiatives to attract, retain and expand our loyal client base for our online courses.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate with team an automated sales commission system and bonus structure.
  • Participate in weekly meetings for check-ins on sales campaigns and help develop System Action Plans with existing staff.
  • Design and provide detailed activity reports and measurement criteria to ensure all efforts result in maximum ROI and efficiency.
  • Track and manage projects.
  • Stellar interpersonal, verbal and written skills, including proactive communication about problems and opportunities while maintaining respect for all.
