Description:
Responsibilities for the IAM System Engineer include:
- Addressing outages in accordance with Service level agreements (SLAs) and responding to client support tickets & work team queue.
- Engaging with system users, vendors, and stakeholders to understand and document their requirements, issues, and risks to create understanding for both technical and non-technical groups.
- Following and improving upon systems engineering, configuration management, and change management processes.
- Addressing the infrastructure team weekly, providing variables, delays, and timelines for current projects.
- Communicating delays and alterations to projects to senior leadership as they occur.
- Participating in on-call support rotation both during and after hours (typically one week per month).
- Participating in continuing education as the environment continues to evolve.
