Description:
This position is shared between North Hennepin Community College and Hennepin Technical College,providing services equally to both. This position exists to act as the Designated Department Insurance Representative (DDIR), answers employees questions about benefits and retirement, coordinates and administers all leaves (Vacation Donation Program, FMLA, PPL, sick, faculty and administrator leaves, etc.), serves as Workers’ Compensation Coordinator, and manages Unemployment Insurance activities. This position supports and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at both institutions.
This position will work at least 2 days per week at each campus (campuses are located less than 2 miles apart), and may telework 1 day per week, if desired.
