Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for seasonal and non-seasonal hires.
- Over the spring/summer, collaborate with the company’s Operations team on shift-coverage, in-season adjustments, time tracking, and other staffing needs.
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and time off policies.
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries and facilitate enrollment processes.
- Participate in budgeting and cost-management of the company’s benefit programs.
Employee Relations, Engagement, and Culture:
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, addressing their concerns and providing expert guidance on HR-related matters.
- Develop policies and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and company culture.
- Together with our Connections Committee, organize company events and activities that promote team building and camaraderie.
- Help shape and improve our performance review process and performance improvement plans.
- Promote training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and career growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR management.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Willingness to wear multiple hats and flex into the shifting needs of the company.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
