Duties

In this position, you will work closely with the NASMs Business Operations Associate Director and HR Staff and perform the following duties:

  • Conduct recruitment conversations with hiring managers.
  • Provide advisory services and assist hiring managers in developing effective position descriptions (PDs) for submission to the Classification Team.
  • Research and recommend usage of a wide variety of hiring authorities and recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and qualified pool of applicants to fill vacant positions.
  • Develop job analysis, rating plans, and assessment questions and/or tools to recruit for NASM positions, including those that are highly technical, professional, administrative and difficult to fill.
  • Educate hiring managers on various HR staffing, recruitment, and classification policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Utilize various automated HR systems to maintain staffing plans, provide staffing reports, and research time-to-hire metrics.
  • Prepare and initiate personnel action requests for processing.
