Description:
Entry level Human Resources position in our Spartanburg, SC, facility providing the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role you will administer- and provide functional support for multiple areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to policy administration, benefits administration, employee relations, training, HRIS maintenance, recruitment, compensation and onboarding. Additional company paid training available, as needed, based on current education level and experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in recruitment efforts including screening of candidates
Conduct new employee training and onboarding
Keeps HRIS updated with job changes, new hires, terminations, pay changes
Assist, as needed, in conducting employee investigations and responding to employee relation issues
Promotes positive employee morale and work atmosphere through employee assistance and issue resolution
Direct interaction with Operations department to assist with policy administration, disciplinary and exit interviews. Provide Human Resource guidance and recommendations
Assists with employee leaves of absence, FMLA, unpaid leaves notifications/documentation
Assist in the development and implementation of new policies or procedures
Act as a point of contact and liaison for benefit related questions and issues including Health and Well Being, life insurance, investment savings and pension plans
Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement
Organize and administer various special projects for the human resource department
Must be available to work variable hours, as needed, to provide alternate shift support
May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
Education and Qualifications:
Associate degree in Business Management or Human Resources, with desire to complete Bachelor program or Society for Human Resources (SHRM) certification
0 – 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
Must be open to relocation for future career growth
Basic knowledge of Human Resources
Able to compile information and analyze data
Must possess a high level of problem solving skills
Must be able to exercise judgement in disclosing or withholding confidential information
Possess high energy, process orientation and superior multitasking skills
Ability to interact professionally with all levels within as well as outside the Company.
High level experience with Microsoft Office Applications
Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary

Professional Office Environment
Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor
Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury
