Description:
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment, Staffing and Retention.
- Collaborate with the Head of School and Executive Director on the employee Onboarding and Orientation.
- Keep the staff directory and organizational charts up to date.
- Maintain records, including Annual Offer Letters, Annual job and salary charts according to location.
- Oversee hiring and exit interviews and procedures, including new employee orientation and the processing of initial and terminal paperwork are being done within their timeframes.
- Performance Management.
- Manage PTO for all employees.
- Record Keeping and Reporting.
- Handles certain finances such as check depositing and payments.
Professional and Personal Growth:
- Models lifelong-learning and professional development.
- Commitment to, and interest in, the Montessori philosophy.
- Attend HR training through the HR System to ensure you are up-to-date with all new and changed federal, state and local laws.
- Works closely with the Licensing Coordinator for any updates and compliance with Arizona and Texas Child Care Licensing.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Assist in the efficient and effective management of the School.
- Demonstrates professionalism in every aspect of the job and adheres to AMI and AMS guidelines and professional standards.
- Practices the use of confidentiality as outlined in the WMS Employee Handbook.
- Follows protocols for managing information (i.e. attendance) and completing requests (i.e. purchase orders, supplies, personal days), etc., as detailed in the WMS Employee Handbook.
