Description:
Responsible for overall coordination and administration of Human Resources programs, policies and procedures, providing strategic services and guidance to multiple business partners. Leverages a thorough knowledge and understanding of Sanford Health's mission and strategy to align Human Resources initiatives and objectives with enterprise policies and programs. Serves as a partner to management within the full scope of Human Resources functions and advising managers, supervisors, and staff regarding human resources policies, processes, and practices. Anticipates and addresses human resources related trends and issues impacting the organization, providing insights and tailored interventions. Support development and execution of talent management strategy and plans specific to business partner. Articulate the capabilities, resources, and actions needed to close talent gaps and optimize the workforce. Partner with Talent Management to conduct workforce planning, conduct strategic succession planning, and maintain consistency in talent review process. Work with Human Resources Strategic Partner within the designated business unit to evaluate and proactively address the Human Resources needs of the organization by providing solutions aligned with market function needs. Escalate complex issues to HR Strategic Partner as needed. Collaborate with the Centers of Excellence to address business partner human resources needs, providing input into the methodologies and plans to adapt to the specific business partner (e.g. change management, organization structures). Deliver standard and ad-hoc reporting to business leaders on key human capital trends, metrics, and initiative progress. May provide expertise and consultation regarding labor relations in order to assist with union negotiations and grievances. May require travel.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related discipline.
Experience in healthcare and/or insurance industry preferred. Minimum three years progressive human resources experience with working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and/or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred.
