Description:
To assist the HCESC Executive Director and Human Resources team in all areas of human resource management, providing guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the Human Resources Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Benefits management providing support to employees, enrollments, terminations, Workers’ Compensation claims management
- Unemployment claims management
- COBRA enrollments for new hires, terminations, and dependents coming off plan
- Spousal Coordination of Benefits
- Manage and maintain accurate budgets
- Work collaboratively with Treasurer’s department
- Provide quality service and support for internal and external customers
- Create and maintain databases in various programs (i.e. FileMaker Pro, Excel, SharePoint)
- Manage BoardDocs, ACA reporting and required organizational trainings
- Prepare reports and other materials as needed
- Multi-tasking in a fast paced, busy office environment executing support for multiple functions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years administrative assistant experience in school setting
- Demonstrated competency in problem solving, communication, customer service and teamwork
- Proven success in maintaining budgets and business transactions
- Prioritizes confidentiality and time management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
