Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), located in Reno, NV, is seeking an Employee Relations, Equal Opportunity & Title IX Specialist to join its Human Resources team.

The Employee Relations, Equal Opportunity & Title IX focus area within TMCC’s Human Resources Department is dedicated to provide comprehensive support and guidance to the entire TMCC community. Reporting to the Director of Employee Relations, Equal Opportunity & Title IX, the Specialist will play a pivotal role in assisting and executing various employee relations activities, EEO complaint resolution, and Title IX compliance.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree and three (3) years of related work experience; OR Associates degree and five (5) years of related work experience

Related experience: Human resources, employee relations, labor relations, training delivery, experience conducting investigations, employment law

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in Higher Education or comparable educational environment

2. Training experience, particularly in compliance training

3. Professional experience in the area of investigations, including Title IX and/or other civil rights, student conduct and/or workplace discrimination and harassment
