Description:
- Conducts objective internal investigations and coaches and counsel's management and employees on HR issues for non-manufacturing groups.
- Responsible for modeling and strengthening a strong company culture that promotes communication, employee engagement, inclusion, safety, compliance and the creation of quality products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- In addition to the overall site HR Generalist leadership role, this position focuses on the key area of Talent Development.
- Assesses training and development needs at the site including leadership, technical and employee centered.
- Leads talent processes and discussions including Talent Review, Succession Planning, Organizational Inventory and High Performing Teams.
- Manages leadership development programs such as Leadership Academy, Emerging Leaders, New Leader Orientation and develops new programs to meet the sites continued growth.
- Establishes metrics to measure the effectiveness of the programs.
- Constantly seeks continuous improvement of the talent development processes.
- Designs and manages the career progression and function career matrices.
- Fosters a culture that focuses on career development and advancement.
- Develops communication plans and tools to support an environment of employee growth.
- Coaches employees on career and development discussions. Applies change management tools for all related activities. May perform other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of HR management components such as training, compensation, performance management, change, leadership and organizational design.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum High School diploma. Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Business preferred.
- Experience 1-3 years of HR professional experience.
- Need experience in global or heavy matrix companies. Need someone to manage multiple priorities/deadlines. A lot of their experience was transactional or customer service type HR experience. Candidates must have Workday experience and be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proven track record of disciplined action and execution in Human Resource roles.
- In those roles, there should be demonstrated skills and proficiency in the following areas:
- ability to persuade and influence effectively at multiple levels of an organization, strong teamwork and proven skills communicating effectively.
- The ability to manage relationships through understanding of environment and needs is also expected.
- The incumbent must have strong project and process management skills and strong consulting skills.
- Knowledge and working application of reading and understanding state and federal laws and regulations including, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, EEO, Title VII, etc.
