AW Media Recruitment are delighted to be supporting this rapidly expanding media organisation, a trailblazer in the creative space! As they scale up operations, we are seeking an exceptional People Partner (HR Manager) to join the team in New York. You will partner with senior leadership across all global markets to drive the people strategy and elevate the end-to-end employee experience.

 

Working as part of a small team of 3, Business Partner and People Director based in the UK. This position will work with the Senior Leadership team and senior management in both North America and the UK. You will support around 50 employees based in the US office. We are looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner who will be responsible for all HR operations activity as well as supporting the VP of People & Culture on the HR strategy across all international markets.

 

As the North American People Partner, you will confidently influence your stakeholders and have challenging conversations with leadership across regions. You are someone comfortable rolling up your sleeves, but also elevating the HR infrastructure and processes globally. You will confidently build relationships across the leadership team and act as the go-to HR expert in the US. Proactively resolving issues with a solutions-focused mindset, taking full responsibility and accountability for your remit.

You will manage the ongoing support of initiatives around training, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement surveys, onboarding, job analysis, benchmarking, and recruitment. You will be an influential member of the leadership team, guiding the US employee value proposition, talent management, and culture as they scale the global footprint.

 

You will consult with executives on complex employee relations issues including restructures, M&A, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for developing all global HR initiatives, policies, and systems. Providing strategic counsel on organisational design, change management, and growth planning. You will champion the award-winning culture, centred on creativity, innovation, and delighting customers worldwide.

 

To gain an interview for this position, you will be an experienced HR Generalist with proven strengths in employee relations and executive-level business partnering. An experienced People Partner or HR Manager who has been accountable for the full employee lifecycle. Experienced with start-up/scale-up environments and being able to pivot with agility is a must!

You will be well-versed in international HR practices and cross-cultural nuances, with deep expertise in NY/Tri-State employment laws and regulations.

 

We are looking for outstanding business acumen, with excellent analytical skills and judgment to balance business objectives with people priorities during rapid expansion.

Significant experience advising C-suite leaders is essential, ideally within high-growth media/tech companies.
