Job Duties/Functions

The HR clerk:

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date electronic human-resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human-resource files and records.
  • Conducts new-hire interviews.
  • Conducts employee verifications (E-Verify)

Qualifications

The HR clerk must have:

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products.
  • Communication and organization skills.
  • A proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with fellow team members.
