HR Business Partner
Where we need you
- Act as a point person for employee relations matters
- Understanding policies and be able to follow employee relations process to investigate and recommend next steps in order to best safeguard the business
- Acts as a consultant to management, on HR related issues, providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Acts as an employee champion, company champion and change agent
- Provide performance management guidance (Action Plans, disciplinary actions, coaching)
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees
- Fill in for HR Manager and/or department staff as needed
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates to appropriate parties
- Formulates relationships with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve upon HRIS system in support of every functional area of human resources, including, but not limited to: payroll, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, talent management, engagement and retention, and training in addition to being directly responsible for: HR information systems and database administration
- Point person for troubleshooting HRIS and other human resources computer applications and systems.
- Recommend and Educate the organization on organizational policies
- Develop, create, revise or further enhance regional HR processes to streamline HR services
- Compose, write, edit, and/or review HR Regional communications intended for internal or external publication, and provide guidance and leadership in the development and implementation of high-profile communications programs for the region
- Research, evaluate, and interpret trends and emerging human resources issues within the automotive industry that have potential impact; develop reports, discussions, projections, and strategic recommendations in response.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of programs, special projects and other initiatives.
- Participate in the development, coordination, and implementation of changes and/or improvements in fiscal, human resources, and/or other management systems and procedures for the department.
How to convince us
- 4 year college degree in HR or closely related field or comparable experience preferred
- 5-7 years, professional-level HR experience preferred
- Passion for HR and ability to identify trends / correlations tied to business results.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
