Join the People Solutions team, as Sr. HR Business Partner, providing consultation to senior leaders on the Global Ops Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the talent strategies required to execute the functional priorities that result in business value and impact. In addition, you will partner with the business to execute and realize the goals of our people strategy in support of delivering sustained impact in attracting, engaging and developing our workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Partnership with Global Ops Services senior leaders to deliver a coherent, game changing talent strategy

  • Pro-actively own the strategic functional-level people agenda for the respective function in alignment to the group strategy, and engage as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant to the senior leaders for mid to long term planning
  • Partner with senior leaders to advance annual business strategies through a multi-faceted people strategy and plans including workforce planning, succession planning, M&A etc.
  • Diagnose organizational design and effectiveness gaps and implement associated actions to mitigate risks
  • Drive and execute on key global talent and people solutions priorities
  • Execute the phases of WD’s integrated talent management process; own and drive expected outcomes for the function
  • Execute on our key rewards, engagement and retention programs
  • Drive key talent metrics focus, reporting impact/gaps and mitigating actions
  • Act as steward of the People Solutions model
  • In partnership with ER, ensure a healthy org to mitigate any compliance/management risks
  • Act as a Culture Steward and Leadership Coach
  • Champions WD values and knows how to integrate this into every aspect of talent/org initiatives
  • Assess, develop, and coach senior leadership teams to drive high performance and potential
  • Strong capability in change management initiatives with a focus on culture, leadership capabilities, and engagement
  • Analyze external and internal trends and conduct regular, inclusive listening sessions to develop data-driven insights to drive optimal employee engagement and experience
  • Amplify and extend DE&I into all talent programs across the employee life cycle, in alignment with enterprise focus
  • Act as an early warning signal for senior leaders and the People Solutions leadership team; respond as needed to global or local crises affecting WD employees
  • Collaborates across Teams and Stakeholders
  • Works collaboratively across multiple teams/COEs to optimize and balance function objectives
  • Effectively prioritizes work within available resources

 

Qualifications


REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with relevant certification preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Organization
  • Proven track record of influencing, leading and facilitating strategic initiatives with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Solid commercial acumen, understands competitor and industry dynamics, and how the business operates
  • Exercises a global mindset and approaches differences with curiosity; experience working and navigating globally preferred
  • Conducts diagnostics, develops strategies and implements solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Facilitates transformation and change by helping the company and individuals accept and embrace change in a way that positively shapes the future
  • Prioritizes delivering company imperatives while balancing the goals of one's own organizational imperatives
  • Approaches problems from a systems perspective by defining connections and interdependencies, and understands how decisions have systematic consequences
  • Gathers insights and data to help leaders and teams make effective decisions that drives the right outcomes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills (including presentation skills) across levels, with an ability to persuade and influence, and the ability to build enthusiasm and commitment
  • Agile and continuous learner with personal resilience and an ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, resourceful, accountable and passionate about driving results
