Description:
Robert Half is working with a client to find their next High-Net Worth Full Charge Bookkeeper. This person should have experience with general full cycle bookkeeping duties, QuickBooks experience, and open to some general administrative duties. This is a direct hire position in the New York City area. This position is 5 days in office, offers benefits and time off.
Responsibilities:
Manage all personal general bookkeeping duties for the CEO including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
Produce financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements.
Conduct a daily review and posting of all financial transactions.
Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any discrepancies.
Adhere to federal, state, and local legal standards by staying updated with existing and new legislation.
Qualifications:
At least 2+ years of experience as a HNW Full Charge Bookkeeper or relevant role.
Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
Experience using QuickBooks is a MUST
Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to manage confidential information.
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
