Description:

A leading international heavy construction and boring firm is seeking Heavy Civil Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents for multiple water-related infrastructure projects in Southern Massachusetts, Northern Rhode Island, and Lower New Hampshire. These projects involve waste, fresh, sewage, flood, erosion, and retention facilities.

We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in heavy civil construction, capable of managing on-site operations, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee on-site construction activities for heavy civil projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and coordination between teams.
  • Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and support the construction workforce.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Handle site-based management tasks, as many projects are 60-75 miles from the home office.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Currently working in heavy civil construction in the Massachusetts area.
  • Open to roles as a pure Superintendent or a blend of Superintendent and Project Manager.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in water-related infrastructure is a plus.
