Heavy Assembler

Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for performing repetitive, short-cycle mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly following prescribed routines or assembly methods.

Job Duties
 

• Run schedules and understand decipher part numbers.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Meet defined production expectations and adhere to the schedule.
• Read and recognize assembly parts and subcomponents by size for proper application.
• Package and label products, and perform computer transactions.
• Meet company work schedule and attendance expectations, performing within the physical and environmental demands of the job.
   

Additional Job Responsibilities
 

• Alert Lead or Assistant Supervisor to material shortages, quality, safety, or personnel issues.
• Pull materials for assembly and organize materials.
• Replenish parts bins.
• Participate in process improvement events as directed.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
