Description:
This internship role supports the Origination team at MSQ with Biopharma industry-sector science support analysis, scientific therapeutic area research, new prospect outreach strategies, science (i.e., company’s drug developing pipeline assets) preparation, opportunity assessments-evaluation, capital markets analysis, and project management. You will work closely with senior executives and play an integral role in prospect-client relationship management, pitching, and closing engagement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and identify biotech companies with cut-edge technology and urgent needs of patient data in other geographic regions globally-regionally
- Support the preparation of prospect discussion materials presentation (i.e., MSQ’s pitch book), including science analysis i.e., company’s drug developing pipeline assets, opportunity assessments-evaluation, capital markets analysis, & Biopharma industry-sector science support-research
- Support the development of new business and the maintenance-improvement of existing business via research coverage of global-regional Biopharma industry trends, analysis, insights, and updates
Requirements:
- Pursuing a PhD and/or already achieved a Master’s in Biology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills – written and oral; Ability to communicate the values of the firm effectively
- Strong presentation skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Integrity and hard work ethic with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, including the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proficient in Chinese and English i.e., written and spoken
