Description:
To support its continuous growth as a leading player in the Digital Engineering services, GlobalLogic is seeking to hire a dynamic and capable full-stack Head of Global Marketing. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and with a line to CEO, the marketing leader will be overseeing marketing for the entirety of business ($1.6B in revenue) and be responsible for the strategy and executing programs to drive brand, growth, and corporate communications across the company.
The head of marketing will collaborate with the C-suite, Sales leadership, People Team and various departments in Hitachi to create the most effective campaigns, programs and communications to elevate the GlobalLogic Brand, help boost sales pipeline and revenue, and communicate with all GL stakeholders.
Under this leader, the GlobalLogic marketing organization will create and execute the highest quality marketing programs to inform, engage, delight, and inspire all of GlobalLogic’s key audiences:
Existing and potential clients (Buyer market) Current and future Employees (Talent market) Hitachi stakeholders (Sponsors) Industry analysts (Influencers)
Responsibilities
The head of marketing at GlobalLogic will be responsible to:
Drive the pipeline and revenue growth of GlobalLogic through integrated marketing programs across various digital and face-to-face channels including digital campaigns, events and tradeshow marketing, appointment setting programs and more.
The marketing leader must demonstrate mastery of modern digital marketing tools and tactics that will connect GlobalLogic to potential buyers in the quickest possible time.
Elevate awareness for GlobalLogic, our market leadership, solutions and services through effective external communications across multiple channels and mediums including Public Relations, Analyst Relations, Traditional Media and Social Media.
Create and project a modern and aspirational brand for GlobalLogic, enabling our audiences to see, experience and become inspired by GlobalLogic’s capabilities, purpose, and values.
Create compelling “creative” assets including materials to inform or promote GlobalLogic including an up-to-date set of customer facing materials (first meeting presentations, client case studies, and other assets to help in the sales process). Additionally, assets to convey the GlobalLogic story and value proposition across channels and inclusive of video, infographic, web, and written content.
Build a data-driven marketing organization that can provide quantifiable value (ROI) to the business.
Own and maximize the effectiveness of the communications channels to all key audiences
Partnering with the Delivery organization and Account Management, execute regular client satisfaction surveys (NPS) to gauge client delight and be the “headlights” to the business
As GlobalLogic’s growth strategy includes a robust M&A program, the head of marketing will support the M&A team in the marketing and communications and branding strategy and execution associated with acquisitions.
The head of Marketing will recruit, manage, motivate, and retain an experienced, world-class marketing team across the globe, covering all major geographies where GlobalLogic must have brand awareness and revenue growth. Major “growth” geographies include: North America, EMEA (with a focus on UK & Ireland, Sweden, Germany) and APAC (with a focus on Japan and Australia).
What you bring to the team
15+ years of experience as a marketing leader (including people management) in a fast-paced, fast-growing B2B technology environment. Marketing experience in a “services” company is a definite plus.
The ideal candidate must show a consistent and demonstrable track record of driving growth
The candidate must possess ability and experience in planning and executing premium (face to face) executive events
As one of the top public-facing leaders of GlobalLogic, the head of marketing must possess highly refined communication ability including stage presence, strong oral and written communication skills.
As the marketing leader will be one of the official company spokespeople and will be interacting with press and analysts, the ideal candidate must have PR and AR experience, including media training, crisis communications (responding to company crisis, or social media issues), analyst presentations, and more.
The Head of Marketing candidate must be an inspirational leader - projecting energy and enthusiasm - and the skills to inspire team members to perform at the highest level.
A coach and a player, we are seeking a candidate who can lead by example, roll up her/his sleeves and get things done, as well as be able to create high performing leaders and teams to delegate responsibilities effectively.
The Head of Marketing at GlobalLogic be an approachable “low ego” individual who will be seen as a credible leader because of her/his character and expertise instead of her rank or title.
