Head Of Financial Reporting

Description:

The Head of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting role is directly responsible for managing all aspects of the external reporting process including the preparation of our SEC filings, including the 10-Qs and 10-K, and coordination with our legal team with respect to the Proxy Statement and miscellaneous filings. This person will manage all the coordination and preparation of all GAAP and non-GAAP financial information included in earnings releases, quarterly and annual reports, and other required SEC filings.

Responsibilities:
Lead the company's external reporting process, which includes the preparation of the Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/K and manage the internal and external review for these documents
Prepare/review quarterly earnings releases
Create and maintain SEC calendar to inform parties of necessary deadline adherence for the following processes: financial close, press releases and 10-Q/K
Primary responsibility to monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare/review technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner
Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team
Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues
Act as key liaison to internal and external auditors for the completion of quarterly reviews and the annual integrated audit of the financial statements and internal controls
Support and review accounting for all unique / one-time transactions
Prepare monthly/quarterly analyses with highest risk
Support M&A activity including due diligence and preparation of purchase accounting as well as the related annual impairment testing
Supervise certain accounting processes (monthly & quarterly journal entries)
Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
Work with third party administrator for the equity compensation plans
Mentor and develop the skill sets of team members
Complete other Ad Hoc requests, Corporate initiatives and projects as requested by Management
