Description:

We are looking for an ambitious, creative, and independent Head of Design and Creative to join our team. This role is perfect for a graphic designer currently in school with an expected winter graduation, who is eager to dive into a part-time position that will transition into full-time post-graduation. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for staying in tune with our target customers’ interests, developing on-trend apparel designs (primarily hats), and creating engaging content that converts.

This role allows you full creative freedom—you’ll anticipate trends and design what our customers want next. Your focus will be on understanding our demographic and crafting visual content that reflects their preferences and drives sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and keep up-to-date with the latest trends, pop culture, and styles that resonate with our target customers ( 18-35 year olds).
• Develop fresh and engaging apparel designs, particularly for hats, that appeal to our customer base.
• Collaborate closely with our marketing team to create content that enhances brand presence and converts on social media platforms, especially TikTok.
• Work independently, bringing new, exciting design concepts to the table without constant supervision.
• Participate in weekly design and marketing meetings to align with team goals.
• Meet tight deadlines while managing your own creative workload.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, with an expected winter graduation.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design work and an understanding of current trends.
• Experience with design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other graphic design tools.
• An understanding of and passion for our target demographic.
• Excellent self-management skills, able to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work part-time during the school year with the intention to transition to full-time after graduation.
