The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the business development objectives for the interventional new product and development revenue targets for strategic and targets account strategies, specifically within the neurovascular, structural heart and electrophysiology markets.
The following challenges await you:
- Engage directly with key customers, create account strategies, sales plans, forecasts, and budgets for customers and products
- Define customer needs and requirements to drive quotes and proposals to meet or exceed pipeline goals
- Negotiate pricing of quotes and proposals by leveraging financial guidelines set by Portfolio Managers
- Work cross-functionally to drive execution of proposals
- Provide strategic guidance to the account management team
- Document, update, and maintain sales pipeline on Salesforce CRM and other systems
- Position target products at customer within the relevant business segments, per the defined Account Strategy
- Continuously map and establish sound relationships with decision makers within customers.
- Must be willing and able to travel and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Heraeus up to 75%
- May perform other duties as assigned by Manager or the Company.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, MBA helpful.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience including a minimum of 5 years in selling interventional devices/ subassemblies or direct experience selling design and development services to the medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of medical device design and manufacturing processes.
- Must be highly motivated and able to develop relationships at all levels within target accounts.
- Will have excellent leadership and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to map out a customer, its organization, products, and future development roadmap.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a self-directed team environment.
