Description:
The Global Payments team is building a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, such as TikTok, Helo, Games, Education, etc.
- Act as a primary senior contact point within the company for all channel partnership queries
- Act as a primary senior contact point for queries from regulatory authorities relating to the payment partnership function of the firm
- Monitor and oversee the performance of channel partners relating to the payment function
- Oversee the BD function in the ten markets and ensure the channel lifecycle processes operate effectively and accurately, delivering accurate results into the business
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and updating of all BDM policies and procedures.
- Carry out channel partners' performance analysis for the regional business, generate performance improvement proposals
- Partner with other business units and provide insightful and quality payment networks deliverables to support the company's business decision-making;
- Conduct regular industry analysis and Business Intelligence research
- Responsible for all BDM's reporting and monitoring, financial control, and business forecasting.
- Assist the overseas entity CEO in delivering overall payment strategy to the Board of Director
- 10+ years experience as a business professional at a payment/e-money institution, bank, fin-tech, financial regulatory agency, and/or professional service firm serving financial institution clients
- 5+ experience working in a regulated entity/environment
- Must have held an approved position previously at a payment-related entity.
- Ability to manage P&L performance (revenue and operating margin) including sales performance, direct and demand-driven costs to budget and overseeing budget setting across the company.
- Experience in and understanding of payments, e-money or wallet products/services, banking functions, MSBs and/or merchant processing.
- Ability to communicate, in a timely manner, with the Board/Senior management team on financial performance and to provide high-quality, impartial information to enable decision-making in a regulated environment.
- Ability to promote the company culture, values and behaviors and to ensure performance standards are accepted and understood.
- Ability to pursue new business opportunities, in support of P&L strategies and P&L performance and to create and execute a strategy across customers.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and market presence relating to best practices and innovation.
