Head Accountant

Description:

I'm working with a client who owns and operates multiple dining restaurants across Oahu. They are looking for an Accounting manager to join their team in Danville, CA.

You would be primarily responsible for managing the accounting paperwork and software side of invoicing, overseeing accounts payable processes including understanding vendor payment terms and making payment decisions, ensuring accuracy in financial statements such as balance sheets, fixed asset accounting, and profit and loss statements, and possessing a strong understanding of payroll processes without directly processing payroll.

Additionally, you will handle general accounting management tasks, including overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance, and being proficient in financial software like QuickBooks while actively collaborating with existing team members.
