Well met! We're a profitable and well-capitalized API / dev tools company funded by Y Combinator, top-tier VCs, and angel investors (including members of the so-called "PayPal Mafia") who are looking for people to join our sales and growth teams.

 

Responsibilities

You have only one primary responsibility: Grow ("directly" - in the case of sales, or "indirectly" - in the case of growth) our top line predictably and sustainably. That's it! There are, of course, some secondary responsibilities involved, but their importance pales in comparison to the primary responsibility, that it's barely even worth mentioning in the same breath.

 

Being successful in this role will require a sense of ownership, hustle, thinking on your feet, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. You will need to have excellent communication skills and a fair bit of salesmanship to engender trust and rapport with potential customers.

 

Qualifications

  • Execution-oriented: We need people who get stuff done. Period. In General von Hammerstein-Equord's 2x2 matrix of the 4 types of military officers, we are looking for those who squarely fit in the "clever" and "industrious" quadrant (ask ChatGPT if this is unfamiliar)
  • High conscientiousness: You are very organized, have a high attention-to-detail, and are highly responsive to the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. Being a self-starter with solid time management skills are prerequisites to being successful in this role
  • Low ego: There can be significant economic upside to this role as things progress, but the nature of this role day-to-day may involve things that can be less exciting / more mundane (it's a job, after all!)
  • Outstanding references: That speak to your work ethic, honesty, integrity, and kindness.
