Description:
The Graphic Designer at CESA 6 plays a key role in bringing the agency’s marketing strategies to life through impactful visual content. This position is responsible for developing and executing creative digital and print media designs - ensuring brand voice and guidelines consistency across various platforms. Working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and other team members, the Graphic Designer creates engaging visuals that support CESA 6's mission and strategic goals, from social media graphics and website assets to print collateral and event materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, a keen eye for detail, resolute commitment to enforcing brand standard compliance, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the agency’s Marketing Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strategic Design and Creative Collaboration:
- Produce original, high-quality designs across digital (social media, web banners, email) and print (sell sheets, flyers, posters) media, ensuring alignment with CESA 6's branding and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop creative briefs, establish project objectives, and identify target audiences - driving alignment across all visual content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and propose innovative design approaches for high-profile campaigns and large-scale projects, keeping visual content fresh, relevant, and aligned with the agency's strategy.
- Develop visual concepts that communicate complex information consistently and engagingly while designing materials for internal use to foster employee engagement and support a cohesive organizational culture.
Brand Management:
- Maintain and evolve the CESA 6 brand identity by ensuring that all visual elements, including logos, typography, color schemes, and imagery, are used consistently across projects.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to refine brand guidelines and establish design templates for use across the agency, ensuring brand integrity.
- Serve as a visual brand ambassador by advising other teams on best practices for design and visual communication.
Digital Content Production:
- Create visually appealing graphics for social media platforms to boost engagement and reach.
- Design landing page assets, web banners, and user interface elements that enhance website aesthetics and functionality.
- Contribute to video content by creating animations, motion graphics, and visual effects - ensuring all digital content is cohesive and on-brand.
- Collaborate with the video production team to assist with creating graphics for videos.
Print and Production Management:
- Work closely with printers and external vendors to ensure the quality and accuracy of printed materials, including reviewing proofs and coordinating production timelines.
- Prepare print-ready files following best practices in print production, including color calibration, resolution, and file formats.
- Design large-format graphics, such as trade show displays, banners, and signage for conferences or events hosted by CESA 6.
Project Management and Execution:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of design quality.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress, communicate updates, and ensure design tasks align with the marketing plan and campaigns.
- Conduct self-reviews of work for quality control before final submission and gather feedback to make necessary revisions promptly.
- Participate in project meetings to clarify requirements, timelines, and deliverables while advising stakeholders on the design process.
