Graphic Designer

Description:

85% Graphic Design
Creating new and editing existing graphics for a variety of projects including but not limited to assessment graphics, promotional and marketing content, websites, graphics for animated videos and tutorials. Assist with the development of storyboards and scripts. Use Illustrator to create digital graphics for web-based platforms.

15% Other Duties as Assigned
Attend team meetings and submit project status updates in a timely manner. Assist with other center responsibilities when assigned.

Position Requirements

This position will be hybrid with at least two days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in our office located at 1515 St. Andrews Dr., Lawrence, KS.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency working with Adobe Illustrator.
• 2 years experience with Microsoft 365, specifically Excel and Word.
• Understanding of graphic design principles of layout, contrast, balance, and typography.
• Demonstrates artistic ability with an understanding of form and shape through the use of drawing skills.
