What you will typically be responsible for:

  • Designing and producing a wide range of print and digital materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, signage, reports, infographics, and social media graphics
  • Resolving problems arising from conflicting priorities, production requirements, budget, and time constraints
  • Developing creative concepts, layouts, and designs that effectively convey complex information, data, and ideas in a visually appealing and accessible format
  • Ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all county communications materials, maintaining a cohesive visual identity and brand presence
  • Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines, and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Collaborating with printers, vendors, and external partners to coordinate production and ensure quality control of printed materials
  • Providing design support and guidance to county staff, offering expertise on design principles, file formats, and printing specifications
  • Collaborating with department programs to conceptualize and execute visual communication projects that align with organizational objectives and target audience needs
