Essential Job Functions

• Create and Design: Creates innovative design solutions — understands brand hallmarks, design trends, identity and brand guidelines. Executes both print and digital design requests on smaller independent projects as well as work in support of large-scale projects. Explores solutions that are grounded in creative strategy. Contributes to creative concepts on behalf of independent projects as well as in support of the Creative Communications team.

• Creative Strategy: Responsible for partnering with internal clients, understanding intent behind the request, and ensures the creative brief is followed. Coordinates the production of designed pieces in support of the Creative Communications team. Works on individual requests as well as larger group initiatives.

• Project Management: Follows processes and utilizes tools on behalf of the Creative Communications team. Understands the importance of budgets, timeline management, project tracking and multitasking multiple requests, while delivering innovative design solutions. Works closely with “account partners” on all aspects of the project; from concept through production.

Reports to: Manager/Sr. Manager Creative Communications

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:

• This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3 - 4 days per month.

• In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs.

• This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of a Bread Financial location.

• Normal office environment, some travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Two or more years experience of Design work in either a corporate or an agency setting. A portfolio is required for consideration
