As a designer at Method Communications, you will work collaboratively across teams to develop ideas and strategies and deliver exceptional work that aligns with overall objectives for clients and campaigns. Bold and confident in your work, you bring contagious creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense to Method’s Marketing Services team. Passionate for your craft, you are able to advocate for design as a critical component of effective integrated communications.

Your natural curiosity helps to fuel your creativity, seeking inspiration and learning opportunities through all that you do. You are team oriented, a problem solver and eager to help find solutions to clients' evolving needs. You have the ability to strategize and execute complex projects including, animated social graphics, infographics, dynamic research reports, website design and digital campaign materials. You are equally happy to provide exceptional and consistent design solutions, for both our agency and the clients we serve. You are skilled in design, typography and video editing to communicate ideas and stories. You have a thirst for learning that continuously brings new ideas, new tools and new services to Method and our clients. You are incredibly creative and able to collaborate in your approach with business teams and marketing departments to come up with breakthrough designs. You have high-end design and typography skills and are expert using the Adobe Suite of design tools.

You are agile at brainstorming, coming up with custom graphics that transmit ideas across multiple platforms. You are also deadline driven, organized and detail obsessed. You have top notch interpersonal and communication skills but are also a self-starter, able to work independently from a group.

As a Graphic Designer, you report to our Director of Creative Strategy and work most collaboratively with marketing team specialists.

Responsibilities
 

  • Design strategic and creative process
    • Collaborates with clients and account teams to discuss and determine project aesthetics and design
    • Advises clients and team members on strategies to reach a specific audience or achieve specific outcomes
    • Use creative design software applications and tools from Adobe Creative Suite to turn client visions into reality
  • Project management
    • Manages multiple projects simultaneously on deadline and budget
    • Communicates productively with management and clients to keep them up-to-date with project milestones
  • Business Development
    • Serves as a resource for the entire agency in design and sharing best practices
    • Executes on internal Method design projects and requests, including new business collateral and website updates

What we’re looking for
 

  • 3+ years of prior graphic design work
  • Mastery of design software including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Figma, etc.
  • Proficient in 2D motion graphics
  • Experience creating digital ads for social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc).
  • A portfolio of work that is inclusive of motion and website design
  • Proven ability to work within client brand guidelines for consistency
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong written, visual and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to think creatively and deliver impressive concepts
  • Collaborative, team-oriented individual with a big-picture mindset
  • Passion for work and commitment to developing skills and helping team members learn on a daily basis
  • Experience in corporate, technology or enterprise design is a plus.
