Description:
As a Graphic Designer/Pre-press Technician at Borns Group, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that meet the needs of our diverse clientele. You will work closely with our marketing and production teams to develop innovative solutions that align with our brand and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and produce high-quality graphics for print, digital, and marketing materials.
-Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
-Create layouts, graphics, and illustrations for brochures, flyers, banners, direct mail, and other promotional materials.
-Ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines across all design projects.
-Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
-Stay updated on industry trends and tools to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Additional Responsibilities:
-Check all files to ensure correct layout as part of pre-press duties, utilizing Adobe Creative Suites.
-Prioritize time-sensitive orders, reviewing and resolving problem orders in a timely manner.
-Exceed customer expectations through accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and knowledge.
-Execute, design, and layout projects efficiently and effectively.
-Prepare proof images to illustrate how the files will print and for the client to proof for errors and potential print problems.
-Offer graphic design ideas and solutions.
-Be able to modify many file types and standardize source material.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a printing or marketing environment.
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
-Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creativity.
-Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred but not required.
