Description:

This position is critical to a large research center in the School of Medicine (Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, which is the second largest department in the School of Medicine).

Position Dimensions and Impact to the University:
The position helps define the brand and public identity of the SMART Center for funders, partners and customers

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design 80%

  • Design and layout provided copy for electronic and print production pieces as well as style guides that include: newsletters, event announcements, tabling materials, signage, reports, practice briefs, social media posts, online modules, website pages, slide decks, video introductions and credits
  • Maintain visual identity standard of the SMART Center and individual Technical Assistance Projects.
  • Keep SMART website and individual project websites current and dynamic
  • Responsible for day-to-day content management of the website and social media accounts

    Administrative 20%
  • Manage onsite/in person and virtual exhibiting events
  • Manage asset and other graphic design accounts and subscriptions
  • Collect and analyze website (via Google Analytics) and social media performance data to ensure alignment between digital content and communications strategies and project goals
  • Ensure 508 Compliance Accessibility
  • Contribute to TAC Core communication strategy planning and execution
  • Other duties as requested
